B. Buying your new puppy:
Note: Please read all of steps B and C before purchasing.
- Choose preferred payment option:

Note: We recommend Paypal and credit cards over the phone as the safest, most secure online transaction. They’re also the quickest transaction process. There is a 3.25% handling fee.
- Complete the purchase agreement/health guarantee. By purchasing a puppy, you agree to the terms of the purchase agreement/health guarantee.
Step C. Getting your new puppy
Once PawPrints receives payment in full for your puppy or dog, we will make delivery arrangements to a major airport near you so you can pick up your new family pet. We ship on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The shipping of puppies is considered "priority" with special handling and regulations for pets. To complete the transaction of your puppy purchase, PawPrints needs the following information: name of person(s) picking up the puppy, buyer's address, phone number(s) where you can be reached on the day of shipping.
Your puppy can be flown to most major airports in the continental U.S. The flight is a reservation; however, there are many variables such as weather, mechanics, and conflicting schedules.
We will try to send your puppy on the Tuesday or Friday as soon as the puppy reaches an age of 8 weeks following receipt of the funds. However, during extreme hot or cold temperatures, flight arrangements may take a week or more due to limited times when temperatures are conducive. Puppies are kept comfortable during shipping in climate-controlled, pressurized areas of the airplane, but transportation from the airplane terminal to the plane is when weather can be a problem.
PawPrints will send a tentative arrival day and time, flight information the day before your new puppy is scheduled to arrive as well as directions to the airport, and pickup instructions for your new puppy. If the puppy you choose to buy is old enough to be flown (8 weeks), your new puppy could be in your arms in 3-10 days.
When you pick up your puppy, look for/ask for a pet travel crate with your name written on an envelope taped to the outside of the crate. Be prepared to show a photo i.d. and airway bill number. Please email after you pick up your new family pet so we know your puppy has arrived safely, and also let us know how you like your new puppy.
If there's any problem, please call immediately: 417-592-3318.
You'll need to make a vet appointment within three days of receiving your new pet to make sure that your puppy has arrived healthy after his flight, to continue his immunization schedule, and to validate the health guarantee.
Please read the Puppy Care Information for New Puppy Owners. If you have a toy breed, please make sure to read the special instructions at the above link about low-blood sugar, which can result in severe health problems or even death. This low-blood sugar problem, called hypoglycemia, is easily preventable, so our guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia.
