The price of $250 for shipping includes the flight, a pet travel crate, health certificate, and preparation for travel. Q. Can our puppy be flown to us outside the continental United States?
A. We can try. Areas outside the continental United States pose challenges because of restrictions, higher airfares, and fewer airports from which to choose, but we will do our best to deliver your puppy. For example, there is an airport in Alaska, but the flight is higher. In Hawaii, there are specific guidelines about bringing animals on to the island. Our goal is to connect families with premium pets, and we will do our best to overcome these obstacles.
Q. How safe is air travel for my puppy?
A. The shipping of puppies is considered "priority" with special handling and regulations for pets. That means the USDA monitors the transportation of pets with numerous guidelines and requirements in order to ensure puppy’s safety, health, and well-being. We provide soft and absorbent bedding inside the crate to make your pet’s journey more comfortable. We also include a pet toy and dog biscuit or jerky strip for amusement as well as puppy food and water.
Q. The weather forecast is 15 F for the day of the flight; will my puppy be able to fly?
A. For the health and best interest of the puppy, temperatures must range from 35 to 85 F at the time of departure of your puppy’s flight as well as any connecting flights. Snub-nose dogs such as bulldogs, pugs and shih tzus have even stricter weather guidelines. If the weather is cold at the puppy’s destination, we arrange departure of the puppy from our warmer climate in the morning and arrival in the afternoon, where hopefully it will be warming up. Conversely, if the weather is hot here, we arrange a pre-dawn, cooler departure for the puppy.

Q. How do I encourage my puppy to have proper chewing behavior?
A. All puppies have a natural tendency to chew -- just like babies -- as they're teething. You should offer chew toys and not allow puppy to get in the habit of using you as a chew toy. Flavored chewies such as raw hides and biscuits offer additional incentive for the puppy to teeth on appropriate items. Additionally, chew bones etc. promote healthier teeth.
Q. How much will my puppy weigh full grown?
A. Regarding weight, there's no guarantee on estimating the weight of the puppy. There are two suggested methods to try to determine a possible mature weight. This method works best with toy breeds. First, multiply the weight at 8 weeks x 3. For example, if your puppy is 2 lbs at 8 weeks, the mature weight could be 6 lbs. Secondly, look at the weight of the parents; the pup's weight should not exceed the parents' weight. For example, if your puppy's parents weigh 70 and 60, the puppy should weigh between 60 and 70. There are always exceptions because of genetics, diet, and general health.
